Teens @ the Library

The Springdale Public Library offers programs and services for teens in middle school, junior high, and high school. Check out popular books, videos, magazines, and graphic novels from our Young Adult Collection, or join our Young Adult Advisory Council (YAAC). These teens meet regularly to help out with library activities and to participate in fun activities of their own.

If you're interested in volunteering during the summer, please complete the Summer 2016 Online Teen Volunteer Application.

Once teens have completed the application, they must complete the appropriate training before they will be able to volunteer. Trainings are held on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month at 4:30 pm. Special trainings will be held for summer volunteers.

Due to the volume of teen volunteers seeking hours, we can usually only offer each volunteer a maximum of two hours per week during the school year or five hours per week during the summer. Please plan ahead to ensure your hours can be completed by your deadline.
