Kibbles & Books

Kibbles & Books is a literacy program designed to build confidence in young readers. By reading out loud to therapy dogs, children are able to practice their literacy skills in a stress-free and fun context.

Kibbles & Books sessions are free, but space is limited! Call 479-750-8180 to register today!

  • 6 year old chocolate Labrador Retriever
  • Loves children and having her paws rubbed

  • 3 year old Weimaraner
  • Shown in AKC conformation, obedience, and agility
  • Loves to play with other dogs, swim, and run agility

  • 3 year old Shepherd/Husky mix
  • Runs agility
  • Enters dog shows

  • 2.5 year old Basset Hound
  • Loves children and having his ears scratched
  • Follows his nose

  • 3 year old rescued Border Collie
  • Loves children and playing with her many toys
  • Likes to wear different collars for her wardrobe

  • 4 year old bloodhound/labrador retriever mix
  • Trained with Washington County Search and Rescue for 3.5 years
  • Loves children and likes to greet them when they come in the door
  • Lives at home with a little sister named Molly
  • Has a very investigative nose and will smell everything in sight just to know exactly what it is
  • has a very good memory, and once he smells you he will be able to know who you are when you walk up to him
